Lakeisha M. Scott ( serves as the Vice-President of Lucille Education Solutions Consulting, LLC. She is an adjunct professor at George Mason University and former corporate and litigation paralegal at Charapp & Weiss Law Firm. Lakeisha brings a wealth of organizational and legal knowledge to the team.  Mrs. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Pre-Law and a Certificate in Leadership Studies. She also holds a Master degree in Public Policy from George Mason University.  In addition to being an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, an international service organization whose purpose is scholarship and service. She has devoted countless hours as a member of the Mary Elizabeth Ministry at her church, First Mount Zion Baptist Church, in Woodbridge, VA. Lakeisha resides in Woodbridge, VA with her loving husband Jameel A. Scott. 

Dr. Randall Westbrook (  - currently serves as the Director of the Education Corner, for Lucille Education Solutions Consulting, LLC.  In this capacity he is responsible for ensuring scholarly and enriching articles and information on our website and other publications. Additionally, he is a faculty member at the School of Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey.  Dr. Westbrook has taught courses at Rutgers University in Education and in Africana Studies.   A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Westbrook is a graduate of Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina. Among his many awards are recognition by President Ronald Reagan, the Reverend Jesse Jackson (Operation PUSH), and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. 

             Dr. Westbrook holds a masters in sociology of education and a doctoral degree in philosophy of education, both from Rutgers University.   For 30 years, Westbrook served as church Historian at St. Thomas AME Zion Church in Somerville, New Jersey, where he also served many years as a Trustee, chief musician, and as Director of Christian Education. He has consulted with churches in New York and New Jersey, editing church histories, and assisting them in the development of educational programming. He has appeared on radio, television and print media, dealing with a wide array of topics, from college preparedness, to the lives of Paul Robeson and W.E.B. DuBois.  His book, Education and Empowerment: The Essential Writings of W.E.B. Du Bois is scheduled for a Fall 2013 release.   Westbrook resides in Somerville with his wife and two children.

Jennifer M. Johnson, PhD ( - serves as the Senior Research Analyst for Lucille Education Solutions Consulting, LLC, responsible for the development and implementation of the research projects conducted by LESC.   Additionally, she is the Retention Coordinator for the College of Education at Bowie State University and facilitates programming and initiatives designed to foster the retention and academic success of undergraduate education majors.  Prior to these roles, Dr. Johnson served as an elementary school teacher in Philadelphia, PA, and as an academic counselor for the TRIO Upward Bound Program, a federally funded program aimed at increasing the college enrollment rates of lower-income students who would be the first in their family to earn a college degree. 

           Since 2004, Dr. Johnson has been an active scholar-practitioner in the fields of college access and student retention.  Her research areas include pre-college access programs, historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and high-achieving students of color.  Since 2009, she has presented at several national conferences including the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) and the American Educational Research Association (AERA).  

           Dr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Syracuse University, a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Chestnut Hill College, and a master’s degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania.  She earned her PhD in Higher Education from the University of Maryland, College Park.
